On April 4th in Orléans, Actifs Précieux had the honor of participating in a technical workshop organized by Vegepolys Valley, dedicated to green chemistry, eco-extraction, and innovation in plant-based ingredients.
Our COO, Hedi Derouiche, led a focused intervention titled:
“Supercritical CO₂ Extraction: a Technology Serving Naturalness and the Preservation of Active Principles.”
This advanced extraction method, at the heart of Actifs Précieux’s expertise, offers a unique combination of precision, purity, and sustainability. It allows for the gentle capture of active molecules without the use of chemical solvents, ensuring both the efficacy of the extracts and their respect for the original plant matrix.
Key messages shared during the session:
Supercritical CO₂ acts as a clean, selective, and solvent-free vector. It supports a circular, low-impact economy by valorizing underused plant materials. This technology bridges science and nature, offering clean solutions for cosmetics, perfumery, and nutraceuticals.
We thank Vegepolys Valley for this opportunity and all the participants for the enriching exchanges.
At Actifs Précieux, we remain committed to developing clean extraction technologies that elevate both performance and meaning in the way we source from nature.
