On July 4, 2025, Hedi Derouiche, co-founder and Chief Technical Officer of Actifs Précieux by Apyrion, took part in a dynamic roundtable at the Grasse Perfume Week by Nez, alongside representatives from Robertet and other key players in the fragrance and innovation ecosystem.

This encounter revealed a deep resonance on the major shifts transforming the fragrance world — from ecological responsibility and ethical sourcing, to full traceability and the sensory potential of green extraction.

Hedi Derouiche presented the unique approach of Actifs Précieux by Apyrion, built on supercritical CO₂ bio-extraction, without petrochemical solvents or hexane. He shared the development of a flagship project: a fresh orange blossom extract, crafted without solvents, entirely hexane-free, and designed to capture the living signature of the flower at the moment of harvest.

This innovation reflects a broader vision of perfumery, one that is ethical, sensory, and intelligent, rooted in science, ecodesign, and a deep attunement to the living world and local terroirs.

Added to this is the central importance of:

– Green technologies as a lever for transformation in the fragrance and beauty industries;
